Duties and responsibilities:
Challenge Alaska Ski School operates out of a 4000 square foot Chalet building located slope side at Alyeska resort. The facility includes a ski and board rental shop with 100 pairs of skis, 25 snowboards, and various pieces of adaptive ski equipment including mono skis, bi skis, and outriggers. The Shop and Facility Coordinator is responsible for maintenance of the shop and equipment, daily set-up and adjustment for 10 to 25 lessons daily, general light maintenance and repair of the building, and coordinating with contractors for more specialized repairs when needed.

Applicant should have experience with skis and snowboards, bindings, and boot adjustments, maintenance and repair, mounting, tuning and waxing, as well as general building maintenance. Experience with adaptive equipment and people with disabilities is desirable. Ability to work cooperatively with other staff and volunteer instructors as part of a team is essential.

Job Status: Full time seasonal, 40 hours/week, November 1 st thru April 15 th.

Pay Scale: $12.00 per hour. Seasons pass included. Opportunity to purchase Aflac insurance is available.
